Contributing their knowledge on circular business models and related necessities (e.g. the need for traceability), Team 2 can broaden the scope and deepen the project team’s systemic knowledge. This will be particularly beneficial in the development of the traceability strategy and the dissemination of results.
Team 2 offers extensive experience in collaborative working modes with various industry partners. ECHT will benefit from this experience throughout the project and in particular when working on the collaboration planning.
While Team 2’s project experience covers a wide range of topics in the realm of circular economy, one of their key expertises lies in the field of deconstruction and recycling of raw materials from buildings. In this context, textile flooring represents an aspect that is hardly addressed by research projects and poses high potentials for recycling if chemicals are traced thoroughly. Team2 therefore is part of the development of the traceability strategy and the Knowledge Platform. Team2 leads the cross-sector pilot action, which feeds cross-sectoral content into the Knowledge Platform  and can inform the development of the textile flooring action plan.
